What to expect:
At your first visit Dr. Skidmore will do a complete exam including periodontal screening for gum disease and an oral cancer/head and neck exam. Unless transferred from a previous office a full mouth set of digital radiographs will be taken. It is important to have a full set every five years to provide a baseline view of each tooth. At this point if you have specific concerns they will be addressed and you and Dr. Skidmore will discuss options and arrive together on an appropriate treatment plan. If no specific concerns need to be addressed, and there is no sign of gum disease, Dr. Skidmore will complete your dental cleaning. Dr. Skidmore likes to complete the whole new patient appointment; it gives him time to get to know you and your teeth. Your following cleanings will then be completed by one of our hygienists and followed by an exam with Dr. Skidmore.

If you have a question that we can’t answer we will find you an answer. With communication eliminated as a problem there is no limit to great service and a great smile.
