Let us provide you with an overview of what to expect during your initial appointment.

As a new patient, your journey to optimal oral health begins with our comprehensive first visit at Mill Creek Dental Care. Dr. Skidmore personally oversees this initial appointment, conducting a thorough examination that includes a periodontal screening for gum disease and an oral cancer/head and neck examination. Additionally, we will take a full mouth set of digital radiographs, unless records have been transferred from a previous dental office, to establish a baseline view of each tooth.

Our approach is highly collaborative; we value your concerns and expectations as they shape the path to your customized treatment plan. Dr. Skidmore takes the time to complete the entire new patient appointment, allowing him to get to know you and your dental needs. Subsequent cleanings will be performed by our experienced hygienists, followed by a comprehensive examination with Dr. Skidmore.
